Tips on Straightening Hair
Begin by taking a small section of hair and running a comb through it to separate the strands. If you are looking to to add a bit of shine, add a drop of serum and watch the hair bounce - a little care will go a long way in maintaining the straightened hair. Place the combed section of the hair between the FHI straighteners ceramic plates, starting as close to the scalp as possible. Close the straighteners with a light grip.
Pull the iron away from the scalp and let the hair glide through the plates, taking care to ensure you pull the straightening irons as smoothly as possible. Repeat this process using the hair straighteners throughout the rest of your hair.

Using a tail comb or index fingers, part the hair around the back
of the head just below the crown and to the other ear. Then, lift
up all the hair above the part and clip it out of the way using the

should be attached first by placing it at the middle of the back of
the head just below the part so that the top of the weft is even with

Tips for Cleaning Ceramic Straighteners
Before cleaning the straightening irons, disconnect the unit from the mains. After turning your irons off, the ceramic plates will remain hot for a short period of time, during which you should exercise caution when handling the iron. Take great care never to drop the hair straighteners in water or any other liquid and avoid direct contact with water.
Wipe the casing of the FHI or GHD straighteners or whichever iron you use, with a moistened cloth, then wipe dry. The ceramic plates of the hair straighteners may be cleaned with a soft cloth and alcohol or glass cleaner, but never use any abrasive materials that may scratch the plates.
